Speedo
Speedo is our resident mini donkey. His size is the only “mini” aspect of Speedo, his personality is HUGE. Speedo loves his people and craves affection. He is incredibly sweet. Speedo has PPID (Cushing’s disease) and he is in liver failure. Speedo eats a special low sugar hay, takes daily medication, and has quarterly bloodwork to manage his health conditions. Speedo is happy and comfortable at WoodHaven.

Franklin
Franklin is our resident steer. Franklin came to WoodHaven as a tiny baby in need of extra medical care and therapy. He had contracted tendons in his front legs, which prevented him from standing or walking. After months of intense physical therapy, leg braces, veterinary care, and a lot of love, Franklin has made a full recovery. He runs and plays, like a GIANT puppy. His favorite thing is chin scratches from his people.

Casper
Casper is our resident donkey. Casper has PPID (Cushing’s disease). He has learned that humans are good, and he desires attention now. You can see a glimmer in his eyes again, after years of neglect.
